Besides, 4.5 crore free cooking gas cylinders have been distributed under Ujwala Yojana. And 2.04 crore cylinders have been booked. Which will be delivered to the people for free in the coming days. A total of 4 crore poor families connected with Ujwala Yojana will be given free cylinders for three months.

A number of steps are being taken for continued relief, the government said. Going forward, new steps will be taken when needed. In addition, the government has also given various exemptions on taxes. At the same time, it has announced to provide five kg of foodgrains per person to the poor for free for three months.
